DON'T WAIT, SPACE IS LIMITED!

Our Fine Arts Preschool provides children, ages 3 to 5 (must be potty trained), with abundant opportunities to experience creative movement, rhythm, dance, acrobatics, music, drama and the visual arts. Hands-on involvement in three to four art forms daily helps children find enjoyable ways to express themselves and grow through experience, nurturing development of the whole child.  Your child will receive one-on-one adult support in our small group environment, gaining mobility, coordination, and boosting confidence so they can learn to take on the big world ahead of them.

ART:
Painting, coloring, cutting, gluing, assembling... The possibilities are endless! Your child will experience hands-on creativity and gain the ability to express themselves through different mediums, skills, talents and practices. Making mistakes is a part of this process and scientific thinking and creativity go hand-in-hand. Art provides opportunities for making decisions and problem solving no matter how many times a child has worked with the same medium.

DANCE AND ACROBATICS:
Introduce your child to the world of dance and creative movement. Through dance and acrobatics, children learn coordination and control of the body, learning to use their hands, eyes, feet and body at the same time. Creative movement also encourages inspiration and imagination.

DRAMA:

Your children will enjoy a variety of activities and experiences that will help promote resilience, discipline, and encourage creative movement, while being introduced to the fundamentals of drama and simple character play.

MUSIC - KiddyKeys Curriculum:

KiddyKeys is a modern and engaging approach to teaching piano skills and music concepts to preschool children ages 2½ to 5. Our methods enable and encourage each child to learn about the piano and music in the learning style that best meets their needs, maximizing their ability to understand and enjoy what they are learning.

Weekly improvisation on the keyboard, music theory, and composition are combined with the traditional elements of music and movement, incorporation of school readiness skills, and character development. In KiddyKeys, children have so many learning opportunities – all in the name of fun!

SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
As children work in the art center, they learn to share the materials, to accept other's ways of creating and to enjoy being a part of the group. Children learn to feel good about themselves and each other as they learn they can do things well. Freedom to explore, make mistakes and experiment is of immeasurable value as we move through life. The arts foster that freedom, encouraging children to invent, create and find new ways to do things.
